Fuck, this was meant as a reply to tippytap. I've seen a bunch of those "little big books" at thrift stores and antique malls, probably none that were in anything but horrible condition.

I'm no comic collector but this is rather endearing. And while Ellison can be super douchey, I'll always cut him some slack because in 1984 he was one of the very few reviewers who saw some greatness in Lynch's Dune despite the mangled cut that ended up on cinema screens.
