The greatest failings of the founding fathers is that the First Amendment doesn't protect our speech from Elton John. How could they not see this coming? This Madman Across the water is going to Crocadile Rock on this poor defenseless business. Fortunately Glenn Beck won't let the sun go down on freedom!
Isn't Elton John allowed to choose not to use a certain business and encourage anyone he can to freely do so to if he thinks that business isn't ethical?
He isn't in a position of political power and he isn't forcing anyone to do anything or making laws that discriminate so what is the problem?
Money is speech, so sayeth the Ayatollahs of America.
Bow down, old hipster.
I kid, Glenn is going rogue on the GOP, "accusing" them of being lefties so the Republicans can safely back away from the abyss while providing a pressure valve for the runoff of insanity. Glenn serves the role of a secondary cult where undesirables can have a false image of rebellion against orthodoxy. Many a cult has employed this tactic to great success to prevent their own destruction via over-pious idiots once the expansion phase has ended.
You know, I agree that the agree-with-us-or-we'll-shame-you shit of western liberalism could use a serious overhaul, but western conservatism _really_ needs to knock off the "if I can't say or do whatever racist or bigoted shit I want without repercussion, I'm not free" shit.
