What a joy it is to see this on poeTV.

In 1992, I went with my girlfriend to a show with EBN and Psychic TV opening for Pigface, the night after my final class of the first semester. I'd been up for three days finishing a large-scale drawing for one of the classes, and was exhausted to the point of hallucination.

I was really excited to see Psychic TV, and was expecting something more along this lines, but instead got Genesis wearing a stovepipe hat and furry vest while singing over tribal house music. This so disappointed me, while I was in this heavy exhaustion, that I sat down on the floor, on the edge of a circle pit (whazzup 92, thanks for the pit at every single concert), and wept into my hands. I later fell asleep standing up during the Pigface show.

In hindsight, I assume that people thought I was in a K-hole.

Has there ever been another band with as disparate a group of phases as Psychic TV? Their early stuff is like a melange of hippie psychedelia and krautrock, then they morphed into experimental noise/performance stuff, then became practically the biggest acid house/tekno act around, then eventually came back to hippie psychedelia.
