I sometimes wonder if the MST3K guys feel like Oppenheimer for what they have unleashed on the world.

About as annoying as video game walkthroughs with shrill nerds making unfunny observations. The content itself is great though and would have carried its own just fine.

retsuprae has definitely gotten weak lately. I still watch their channel, and there are occasional gems, but mostly I feel bored by their videos lately.

One of them had a kid last year, that is likely a factor.

retsuparae fucking sucks now. They were kind of funny when they were aiming at games that unquestionably deserved it, but when they moved on to low hanging fruit like clearly mentally ill youtubers and shit like that, they lost pretty much everything that was ever entertaining about them.
