I got this thing with all the knowledge of your libraries that...uh...I....will escape...alone....to give to another.
That's a big ship, you think I could join you?
UMMMMMMMM....What's that! *skedaddle*

Any culture with that kind of background music can't be that big a loss to the galaxy.
1967-72 is pretty much when all the best beats happened.
So when Spidey is swinging _above_ all the buildings, what's his web stuck to? The moon?
I mean, what are we to believe, that this is some sort *magic* web or something? Boy, I really hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
Seriously. Talk about ruining the suspension of disbelief.
After a few months of spidey's incessant dicking around town the streets would be clogged with old web. 50 to 100 ft ropes affixed to all the lamp posts and buildings with some kind of superglue that's good under all weather conditions. Whose cleaning that shit up? The taxpayer? Can't the guy just drive around in a spider mobile or something?
Suspension of mutant spider-people
Super wıse beatniks? A reality that goes away when you close your eyes? "A trip" he doesn't want to repeat? I think there's a message or two in there.
Also 5D by The Byrds was about physics (and 8 Miles High was about air travel).
Captain Beefheart only took LSD once and thought it was nonsense because he could paint better than that.
Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds was about a drawing Julian Lennon did, nothing more.
I don't know where all of the rumors about the 60s started.
You're 2 days too late heh heh.
This is absolutely batshit, start to finish.
"That's one trip I never want to go on again!"
You said it, Spidey. You said it.

Dementia 5: not handicapped-accessible.
Jesus fucking christ are we to believe the entire library of Goroth can be transported in a cardboard box WITHOUT BUBBLE WRAP?!
MY IMMERSION IS RUINE
So has anyone watched this?
Because I have a distinct memory of some 80s/90s movie where a dog dresses like a ninja and at one point >>rolls up the roof of a house
Whoa shit, that was meant for the Bingo trailer. Apologies.
Holy shit! That was insane.
Channeling lovecraft pretty hard here
Every time I see these classic episodes I'm struck by just how terrible the meter and prosody are in the theme song.
Needs a Ralph Bakshi tag.
Story quibble: the plot would have been better served if Spidey's spidey-sense, and not closing his eyes, had been what clued him in to the secret of Dementia 5.
"Just because they didn't explicitly say so doesn't mean it wasn't what happened," you object. Well explain how Rocket Robin Hood did the very same thing without any arachnid senses:
