Our heads and brains are fairly delicate, and horrible body wasting diseases are fairly rare (and rarer that someone with them survives long)
So it's possible there could be a proper supply?
The real ethical problem is, do you save one person with the donor body or slice it up and have the organs save a half dozen people?

If you didn't follow the ling kin the description, the exciting twist is that a 30 year old terminally ill Russian man has volunteered to be the head donor and this is apparently going to actually go down. So yeah.

oh shit Russia and Italy want to actually do this thing. They even chose some guy who has a body that barely works that wants to go through with it.
Hmmm... So what if we then had someone figure out how to induce birth defects into people that causes brain aneurysms or other mental failings at an early age, or perhaps causes no brain development whatsoever?
I loves me a medical horror story, and I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen... intentionally. I can totally see it being considered if this procedure works.
