I blame zero-tolerance culture.

Seriously, cops AND citizens here in the states seem to think once you've stepped outside the bounds of the law even a little bit, you deserve whatever's coming to you.

It's the only way to maintain law and order!

Scynne - 2015-04-24

No, it's an effective way to control population growth.

EvilHomer - 2015-04-25

"Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature"!

That guy - 2015-04-24

Well, 5 for the fake "I can't breathe", that's for fucking sure.

Oscar Wildcat - 2015-04-24

Honestly, the air down there is terrible.

fluffy - 2015-04-24

He could have asthma.

Corpus Delectable - 2015-04-24

Meh. People do stupid things when they're stressed. A black guy on a subway being held down by a white guy has got plenty reason to be stressed. He's only human.

That guy - 2015-04-24

fluffy does he sound asthmatic to you?

He only has his arms pinned, no one is sitting on his back.

Yeah of course he could have reason to panic, or just been in a terrible fight and be in shock, or be crazy or something.

Nevertheless, fake "I can't breathe" has a certain pain-in-the-ass quality to it.

Cena_mark - 2015-04-24

The guy was clearly afraid of meeting the same fate as Eric Garner. Why are you pro-police brutality?

That guy - 2015-04-24

hah

EvilHomer - 2015-04-25

What makes you say it's fake, Mr Guy? That sounds like real stress and desperation in his voice. He could well have been having a panic attack, which would account for his inability to breath.

That guy - 2015-04-25

He might be having a panic attack. He was just fighting on a subway, so I don't know if he's soft enough to panic there. He might be bananas or think they NYPD is about to kill him. All possible. Also possible he's using it to get the fuck out.

BUT, not long after that he says "no" he's not hurt. I don't think he's actually emotional enough to scream "I can't breathe" like that, nor do I think he actually can't breathe. I think he's screaming it in self-defense cause he hasn't figure out they're not NYPD, OR he's screaming it so they'll release him.

Even Family Guy made a quip about Sweden and black people ( https://youtu.be/H4GhLUNkITw because I'm sure you're dying to see a Family Guy clip), but from what I gather there is actually a fairly big amount of immigrants (or refugees) from Africa and the Middle East and there's a fair amount of racial tension between them and the original population.

I don't know where in Sweden these cops are from, but they just might be pretty used to stopping fights and pinning down black people.
