Oh come on, 'You teleporting whore' was funny, as was the ice cream one.

"I'll normalize your face" somehow made me giggle.

Wasn't Noob Sauce an actual MK tie-in product?
EvilHomer - 2015-04-27
Are you talking in-universe, or IRL? Neither, so far as I am aware, but Noob Sauce would fit in quite well with other in-universe MK products, like Kitana's Edenia Golf Outfitters, Frost's Arctic Hold hair gel, or Scorpion's cooking show.

You should send them an e-mail and request it!

I don't get why so many videogame developers think 'comedy writer' is a thing they can do without having to hire outside help. If they thought that way about architecture their fucking ceiling would cave in.

MKX actually has some really funny dialogue; everything Cassie and most of the things Johnny says are comedy gold (the rest of Johnny's quotes are just kind of sad, like sometimes when he's talking to his ex-wife, Sonya, you can tell that they're both hurt and still have feelings for each other). Also, I've noticed that people have a tendency to riff on Kung Lao; his fellow kombatants probably consider him an easy target, knowing what an uptight jerkass he can be.

0:35, Sub-Zero is NOT a klone. Scorpion knows this; the whole reason why Scorpion looks the way he does (dressed like Sub-Zero, only in a cowardly yellow), is because he wished to mock the traditional garb of the Lin Kuei.

1:04 was true (mostly, see below), and actually sort of funny. Good work!

1:15 Saying that someone needs to be nerfed isn't really an insult. It's more of a whine and an admission of one's own inferiority. Even if it were true (which it's not), Scorpion would never admit this to his hated enemy's face.

1:40 Sub-Zero is Kuai Liang. Bi-han was the guy from Mythologies. Sub-Zero forgets who he is, or bad writing? You decide.

What I'm learning here is that not even the people who make Mortal Kombat games care about this shit

EvilHomer - 2015-04-27
Oh no, they do! Which is why I strongly suspect that this video is FAKE. Guys like Ed Boon and Dan Forden and John Vogel particularly, they'd never let rookie mistakes like these through their quality assurance net.

The Mortal Kombat story is famously stupid, but also famously detailed and autistic. The wealth of kanon is one of the ways Midway tried to distinguish their product from their fiercest competitor, Street Fighter, and now that MK is owned by DC Comics, it's only going to get more autistic.

You have to admit, comparing somebody to Jax is a pretty sick burn.

I always liked fun little stuff like this. The special pre-fight dialogue when certain people would face off in KOF, for instance.

I like jokes and laughter so I do not like this.

OK, 1:49 made me giggle a little, so it would be dishonest of me to give this one star.

The rest, not so much.
