Amanda Waller reprimands Miles Morales

My mom would've done the same thing if she knew I was up in Seattle during the WTO riots. Really I wasn't there to protest, just meet up with some friends, I don't think I even knew what WTO meant necessarily. Anyway, if you're keeping up, Baltimore's a warzone right now. I hope those of you who are over there are safe.
My parents called me every night of the Toronto G8 protests for flimsy reasons to make sure I hadn't been arrested either.
I'm alright. Classes for me got cancelled. Then I got into a fender bender when some NASA guy smacked into my rear at a red light. Traffic on 695 was eerily light. I'm white.
Some "NASA Guy.." interesting. I'm just imagining a spaceship, but I have the imagination of a 5 year old. Glad you're safe whitey.
Pulled an all-nighter driving back from S.C. this past weekend and got all messed up around DC/Baltimore where I thought I was supposed to stay on I295 but I295 dumps you onto the 295 Parkway so I got dumb and followed to I695 because of this sign:
The turn around at sometime near 12:30 in the morning in the rain was exciting.

"Why can't they all have mothers like that?" thought the white person.
Classic. Listen to yourself.
I'm commenting on Scrotum's phraseology there, and the rhetorical work that 'the white person' does for the supposedly enlightened.
Progressive biases can also suck. You can't make them right by putting them on a scale against worse biases.
My comment is about mentality, not bias.
My point is that you can be aware of bias but still have a mentality that pushes you towards that bias no matter how much you understand that bias being absolute shit.
Think of it as a rung above the concept of a very superficial in their comprehension but still muster for an ideology but then swing in the other direction so violently that you wonder if they were just faking it.
*of a person so superficial in their beliefs
But aside from my broken posts, I feel leaving a statement such as That Guy's unattended is just as bad as leaving Scrotum's statement unattended.
Your feeling is wrong. How does it feel to have wrong feelings?
Probably not quite right.
Oh, That Guy. I have plenty of feelings!

I assume she wants him to leave because she's afraid he'll be killed by police.
I would assume so as well.
You know, I'm going to believe we "need more moms like her" when I see one of the policemen's mothers beating the shit out of him in the streets for killing people in the back of a van.
fedex: I would fund that kickstarter.

If only all this rioting were in defense of a child raping sports hero. But alas...
