This is actually pretty neat. I know it'll gross almost everyone out here, but the concept of using leaches to improve circulation to break up the elephantiasis is pretty cool. There are no good treatments for elephantiasis because once the lymphnodes are blocked by the filaria it just sort of turns into this hard, woody nodule (huh huh huh..). So if this could somehow help the body to improve circulation to those areas and clear some of it out to decrease the swelling, awesome!
