Eliza was responsible for so many proto boners in the 80s.
Which one's Eliza? The bat alien with the big ears?
Maybe he means Niko, the redhead psychic heroine seen in the intro and briefly at the end. She looks ready for all tomorrow's parties.
Whatevet, man. Chicks dont have names. I call these two "Lunch" and "Dinner"!

Whole series is on Hulu. Worth watching, definitely.
I had vague memories of this as a kid and when I came across it again they all came flooding back.

Was the animation and design work farmed out to Japan or Korea?
its got that "painfully white foreigner" caricature thing going on.
Has to be Japan. The animation's too good to have been done by a bunch of Koreans.
Yep, done by these guys:
Suck it, Korea!
Whenever you see an '80s cartoon with impressive, anime-ish production values (Galaxy High, Mighty Orbots, Bionic Six), TMS was usually behind it.
Hey, that Wiki entry doesn't have The Blinkins! That's gotta be a TMS job! Osamu Dezaki directed it and everything!
Apparently they did Season 1 of Inspector Gadget, too!
They were not, however, responsible for Corporal Capeman. Thank God.

I am surprised and somewhat happy this hasn't been re-booted.

If "better than expected" means "better than BraveStarr," I'll go along with that.
The design work is pretty neat, though, and I'll give it an extra star for the voices. That's Jerry Orbach as the lead Galaxy Ranger, after all. I also like the sarcastic falsetto computer and the robots who talk like they're in a Joseph Lai cartoon.

"Your team is the best chance we've got!"
"We are the ONLY chance!"
Holy crap, Zachary, you've been a superhero for thirty seconds, how about actually stopping a bad guy or two before you start declaring yourself messiah.
