chumbucket - 2015-05-05 Not a funny skit but great idea for a comedy troupe. More?
infinite zest - 2015-05-05 Unfortunately there's not too much else. There was an indiegogo campaign whose goal was not met for a documentary, which I'd like to get ahold of which chronicles their final show. :(
Apparently they might be getting back together though. New England sure has a lot of great resources for folks with developmental disabilities. Between these guys and that band Old Zircon showed me, perhaps I'm working in the wrong part of the country, or the wrong part of the world: it's on here, but check out the Finnish documentary The Punk Syndrome for something equally awesome.
infinite zest - 2015-05-05 It's kind of a shame that they didn't post more of their stuff. I think my favorite is the blind member's joke: "People always say that you must like Stevie Wonder. He sucks. Just because he's black doesn't mean I have to like him."
infinite zest - 2015-05-05 Oh! They are back together and doing 2 shows: April 29th at Drexel University on May 29th in Philadelphia and May 30th in Jamaica Plain, Massachussets at the Riot Theatre. If one of you east coasters goes and can film it and post it, and possibly get an interview or something, that would be so cool.
chumbucket - 2015-05-06 I'm "east coast" but no where near those places this month (I've already coughed up travel expense for a good few months). But I bet their entire show is great. It's like if Charlie Brown grew up and did stand-up.
Watched the trailer for Punk Syndrome, looks amazing.
Old_Zircon - 2015-05-07 I'd go up to JP to see this if I didn't have a CNC fabrication class that evening.
