America's problems with education are really a symptom of poverty and income inequality (he touches on it, but in a roundabout way). As long as America's economic system is unfair to the vast majority, its educational system will be as well.

I'm actually reasonably happy to see people on the "left" (such as this is) crushing nuance to convince people. The right-wingers do it way too often, and unfortunately it works.
