I think it's referring to his t-shirt. I care because I was a fat kid (not on the same level) throughout middle school. I think at the most I was 250 lbs. I can't say that I blame anybody but myself: my friend at the time was a rich kid who was also fat, so I wanted to be like him, and the freedom of middle school meant that I didn't have to just eat the (semi) healthy food my public school made and I ate McDonalds every day. Then I just sort of resigned myself to being the fat kid, but I wanted to join the swim team because I like to swim but didn't want to take my shirt off. Anyway I was still at the age where I could change my entire physique and it only took one summer to go from 250 down to 150, which is about where I am today. If I tried the same thing now at 33, I'd probably get sick or die, so I just continue to eat healthy and drink lots of cheap beer instead of IPAs..

Hey Gmork, ashtar and I were having a debate about you the other day. Ashtar contended that you were the guy in this Kickstarter video { https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozkg3YvYwRk }; I disputed this claim, on the grounds that the man in the fedora is not nearly fat enough. Which of us was correct? That is not you, is it?

I'm pretty sure it's impossible that any disease makes this happen to this degree. This guy has deep seated emotional problems that must cause him to overeat on top of this.

It's just awful parents overfeeding their kid until it gave him diabetes, crippled his social development, and would eventually kill him. The doctors are just trying to be supportive and diplomatic, instead of piledriving the mother and father out of their 3rd story office window.

Whatever biochemical disorders he may have, your body is still going to burn energy just to keep you alive and it can't convert nothing into fat, so all that extra fat came from food. Also note that both of his parents are obese, and studies have shown fat begets fat (insofar as adopting poor eating habits, not passing along gravy genes). This poor kid has basically had his life fucked because his idiot parents are 2 hats shy of a party.
