It's Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. I don't know where Kabbage gets off with that description, because GMK is the best Godzilla movie ever made. The English dubbing ruins it completely, though.

Comon, final wars was fun

Cool! I guess I did like the new Godzilla for what it was, except the "where's Godzilla" part. But it didn't need the serious Batman esque reboot like Batman did. If anything the emmerich one was at least trying to capture the kitschy spirit of Toho, it just failed at it. Godzilla never really had much in the way of serious roots like a franchise like Batman did, so where Batman tried to distance itself as much as possible from old batman, what was Godzilla running away from?

Godzilla's roots were very serious. The first movie was about as dark and serious as a movie of its time could get.

Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack is, in many ways, more a testament to the naked folly of man than Gojira.

It's been forever since I've seen it; yeah it's not super-lighthearted and it's basically a metaphor for Hiroshima Nagasaki but I don't remember it being dark besides that elephant in the room, which was probably lost on me last time I saw it.

I found GMK to be agonisingly shit. Best Godzilla movie is still Mothra vs Godzilla, with Hedorah a solid 2nd place.

Yeah if there's any confusion, GMK might be hands-down the worst Millennium Godzilla movie of the bunch.
