they need to get desalinization plants going pronto. They built one in SoCal years ago but they never used it, they are just beginning to get the ball rolling on using it sometime in the near future. Essentially we really are royally fucked.

My roommate takes 40 minute showers a few times a week because she "really needs it". I take showers as short as possible, 1 to 3 minutes long.
