Did you misspell "gimmick" as "gold"?

I like the details, like the NASA mug.

What year is this supposed to be? For example, at one point, they mention 1991's "Eye of the Beholder" as being a contemporary game. Yet a minute later, they say that the Nintendo Entertainment System is "brand new", which would place this in either 1985 or 1986.

My verdict: fake.

Oh, durrrh, 1987, it says so right in the beginning. Well that's not very good, either - that contradicts both of the above statements. The "Dungeon Master" reference checks out (that game having been released in 1987) but everything else is suspect.

Also, Mr Schulz has an AVGN plushy on top of his computer monitor. That's a dead giveaway.

Also nothing referred to itself as "Pixel-"anything back then it was just the medium with which they were crafting whatever it was. That's like "OIL ON CANVASS SELF PORTRAIT WITH BERET AND TURNED UP COLLAR" if they suddenly found some old Rembrandt livejournal about making it.

My God. You guys.

Man, Blood Dragon really did open the flood gates on creating fake 80s trailers for your retro game.

In most cases, much more work has gone into the trailer than the game.

This game is really fun and it only cost me a buck.

Stars for the ridiculous technobabble throughout

Really fake looking Magic Bullet "VHS" filters? Ironic mustache? Gamer humor?

Not watching.
