I'm not sure where you grew up, but I never came across anyone remotely resembling a klansman in my neck of the Appalachians. For all of the fear mongering that the SPLC engages in, I've simply never seen evidence of a massive white supramecist conspiracy to do whatever it is that they're supposedly planning to do. Secede from the union? Create a whites-only state? Like that will ever happen. In the meantime, an army of hate-filled extremists are chopping people's heads off all over the world, but the SPLC won't touch Islamic extremism with a 10-foot pole. As far as the Confederate flag is concerned, I couldn't care less about it. As George Carlin said, flags are symbols for the symbol-minded. If banning a flag temporarily placates the proles, then so be it. 1. You are correct, I didn't. Not all arguments are equal, and not every voice of dissent is worth addressing. Arguments based on obvious animal noises wrapped in English words to disguise basic recognizable political positions are irrelevant, no one is obligated to sink to your level.

2. That's true, but it will improve once the social strata of bigotry and proud ignorance endorsed by white racists and their politicians are marginalized and forgotten. This is presently happening. You are a part of the new margin, hence point 1.

White racism isn't what caused corporate America to ship our manufacturing base overseas. The only color capitalists see is green. If they could exploit Germany to the extent that they exploit countries like China and India, you'd hear a German voice whenever you called customer support and Wal-Mart would move their factories to Berlin.

White racism is what causes the majority skin tone of the United States to spend all of its time doing the following...

1.) Hating other Americans for being a different skin tone, thus fighting them tooth and nail for the scraps corporate America gives everyone instead of solving their common problems, then screaming you're a victim when they manage to get something out of the fight you bring to them.

2.) Endorsing the corporate politicians who blow the dog-whistle for point 1, which allows them to use it as a platform to indoctrinate white people into a hatred of knowledge, education, and the critical thought required to lift everyone out of poverty by having the effective tools to challenge their power.

3.) Allowing corporations to co-opt religions based on charity, love, tolerance, and divinity with corporatism, racism, war, and hatred of members of your own species for appearing to look different.

4.) Bringing all of this to the whole planet with a foreign policy voted in by corporatists with a rabid white racist voter base, expanding the cycle of bigotry to the entire human species from the corporate national stronghold.
