There needs to be a gravel pit at the bottom.

That guy - 2015-07-16

There needs to be a ball pit full of jiggly boobs at the bottom.

There needs to be a pit full of macaroni and cheese at the bottom that you eat your way out of!

The soulless minions of anti-fun banned Slip n' Slides too. We used to detergent ours up to simulate this effect with a shorter slide.

Old_Zircon - 2015-07-16

I can't think of a single thing on the playgrounds I grew up with that would be allowed today.

Not hyperbole.

Yeah, back when tireswings were tires.. playgrounds used to be Darwin's swimming pool. And yeah, I jumped into a swimming pool thinking there was water in it too so that's not hyperbole either. Kids these days lemme tell ya.

Although I am glad my mom caught us putting a slip and splash up on the roof with absolutely no foundation..

We used to swing on vines, yes, actual tree vines, over a large pit of rusted metal garbage and farm debris.

I bet if you rolled a kid over a hill in a large tire these days, they wouldn't even survive. Video game marshmallow fatties, all of 'em.

yah the slide is big, but I really got all hot in the bonnet about he guy getting canned by a pole between the legs at the end...

chumbucket - 2015-07-16

Missing slide whistle and boing bang crash sounds.

I thought that darker material was sandpaper. Very rough grit.

So, it's probably that weird industrial foam that's in so many parks and playgrounds now. First time I saw it in a park I was like "why the fuck is there hard asphalt right under the swings?" but it's actually this strange foam that looks like asphalt but has the cushioning effect of like a gym mat or something.
