It's impossible for words to describe what is necessary to those who do not know what horror means. Horror... Horror has a face... and you must make a friend of horror. THANK YOU for reminding me that right before I moved I found an old VHS documentary about orbs, I really need to unpack that and digitize it for posterity.
one time I was at a new years party and this one dude kept on trying to show me his orb photos and he was seriously into that shit and I was all "did you take them with a flash?" and he was all "of course, it was dark" and I was all "well did you consider maybe it's the flash lighting up the dust?" and he was all "NO THAT IS NOT IT AT ALL THERE IS DUST EVERYWHERE LIKE THER EIS DUST IN THIS ROOM BUT YOU DON'T SEE ORBS FLOATING HERE NOW DO YOU?!?!?!" and I decided I had better things to do with my time than hang out at a party with people like this.
Fluffy, I have had the same experience with being shown photos of dust. I once took a photo that had an orange glow over a person, to which someone insisted that was magical spiritual power. I explained I accidentally redirected some of the flash with my misplaced thumb, then it became magical spiritual coincidence.
You just can't win.
