Very uncomfortable white girl alert at 4:55!

Man, Def Comedy Jam was the best thing ever when I was a kid, along with MST3K and Mr. Show.

His MLK/preacher delivery style of comedy filth is beautiful.
|
infinite zest - 2015-07-20 I haven't watched enough of Rudy Ray Moore, sadly, but it reminds me of the stand up routine at the beginning of Human Tornado. I wish I could've seen both of these guys live before they passed on to wherever it is we go.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-07-20 This whole style of comedy is pretty great, I haven't explored it nearly enough myself. There was a lot of it.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-07-20 The Chitlin Circuit and the Borscht Belt both produced some of the best filth of the 20th century.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-07-20 Skillet & Leroy, LaWanda Page, Blowfly, Rudy Ray Moore, Wildman Steve, tons more.
This list has a lot of stuff I want to hear:

infinite zest - 2015-07-20 I'm actually curious as to whether the opening to Human Tornado was staged like Seinfeld or if it was an actual comedy routine at a venue spliced into the film. Wildman Steve seems pretty tame in comparison to be honest.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-07-20 Probably an actual comedy routine.
This is Wildman Steve 20 or 30 years past his prime, of course.

Old_Zircon - 2015-07-20 More similar than they probably should be, though.
