This is a hard RIP. I cannot even begin to explain how much both Joyce's work with Negativland and Over The Edge have meant to me personally over the last 15 or so years I have been familiar with the show (though it goes back almost 35 years). Never expected tonight's OTE show to be the last one.

For those who might care: tonight's episode of OTE (7/23/15 Midnight PST on KPFA Berkley) is going to be hosted by other members of Negativland as well as any other collaborators they can get to show up. I presume this is being organized by Mark Hosler.

Aw crap. Negativland fan since the early 1980s, Big 10-8 place.

Oh, me too. Negativland was always sort of like KLF, can't choose favorites but I miss them both. Also Bendix and Dieter Moebius in one week. Sad week for music. :(

I mean Joyce sorry. RIP.

honestly I didn't even think they had names.

Ian Allen also died in January (founder of Negativland and the guy who got Joyce his spot at KPFA) so its been a rough year for Negativland.
