I know a lady...Just imagine Ned Flanders as a woman and you have a perfect mental image of this lady. Anyway, she won't shut up about what donald trump says, as if he is the end-all-be-all of political and economic thought. I'm sure she'd love this (and I say that without having watched a second of it).

I'm pretty much a socialist, but I've got a few libertarian friends and all of them consider this guy a clown.

I didn't think they were capable of rational thought on most political issues, but hey...

Donald Trump is leading the Republican polls right now.

What does that say about the other candidates?

I was part of a group demonstrating against this event. I didn't go outside, but we did get to see a bunch of identical gigantic black SUVs drive by to drop off some of the 792 people vying for the GOP nomination. Donald waved at us as he drove past, prompting me to take an extra shower when I got home.

I'd say that among the people that stopped by to talk with us, about half were supporting us and half were there to regurgitate the same theist arguments that have been rehashed a million times. My favorite was the guy who was proposing his legal theory that if a state governor wanted to put the Ten Commandments on state property, all that would have to happen is the President could pardon him and the monument could stay untouched.

He did say, "You heard it here first", which was the one part of his spiel that I wholeheartedly agreed with.
