Oh, phew, that makes me feel a bit better! I did not want to beat up this woman, but my initial reaction to her was markedly negative. It sounded to me like she was just being petty and vindictive, but I was worried that might be the wrong reaction - you know, from a feminist perspective.

First, I wasn't really serious, that was a response to Homer making fun of me. I do find it kind of engaging, though a clear musical tone is also nice. I don't really have a preference.

Second, it's not about preferences. I can have preferences if i want, just as long as I don't impose them on others. Even if I'm annoyed at the way women talk, it's not their problem., unless I start writing crank letters to NPR about certain reporters, or making crank vlogs about how women need to talk better, instead of just fucking dealing with it.
