Every single one of those guys (ok maybe not Joel) could tell that this was an unsafe thing to do, even the guy with the Safety Hat. Hopefully someone not at the bottom of the ladder (literally) gets in some shit for this.

Joel got PTSD from this accident. And it appears the County of Santa Clara is investigating the construction company, who, as it turns out, didn't file an OSHA accident report for this.

Women can be like that, yeah.

I've seen many people do stupid things on construction sites.
Old_Zircon - 2015-09-04
Most of the people I've known who did construction were stoned pretty much all the time.

Joel was probably forced into going down there through a combination of being called cowardly and threats of losing his job.

This is frustrating assuming this is a result of some prevalent attitude that suppresses reasonable safety precautions. People die because if this kind of ingrained idiocy, it's garbage.

Hahaha. Fuckin' Joel.

Let me guess, someone was too experienced to use a torque wrench anymore?
