gravelstudios - 2015-09-15 My dad met him briefly while working as a corrections officer in Maryland. John Waters had a friend in prison, and would visit him occasionally, and my dad just happened to be working the visiting room.

I live close to RISD. The museum there is free on Sundays so we go a lot. Lots of cool modern art and a surprising amount of classical stuff considering RISD's reputation as a bastion for avant garde rich kids who shun stodgy old white people art. The student gallery is usually hilarious in its pretentiousness, but sometimes you find a gem, like these neat sculptures made of garbage that are there currently. I have no opinion of John Waters and indeed did not even watch this video, but I'm currently whacked out on muscle relaxers for my shit back and thought I would join the PoETV hivemind in treating this place like my personal blog.
