It's too bad ZIV didn't dub more episodes in the retarded comedy style. I feel like I could watch more of that.

Yeah it's fun. I loved how ADV had their way with Ghost Stories, which I assume was a fairly serious anime. Matsumoto was actually my introduction to anime (thanks Scifi Channel) so Harlock means a lot to me, but I loved the horrible dubs. It was like Space Ghost before Coast 2 Coast!

Ugh, he made a quip about "social justice warriors" in there...idiots can never just keep on topic and always have to inject their stupid political views into EVERYTHING.

If it hadn't been for that, I would've assumed this video dated back to 1998 or thereabouts. It's informative, but Corn Pone Flicks always seemed like That One Guy at the anime club or comic book store or karate class who had a disproportionately vicious grudge against ADV Films or Todd McFarlane or Jean-Claude Van Damme.

I found Harlock kinda dull when I checked it out as a teenage anime nerd, but I probably would've loved it if I'd seen it back when I was watching Robotech and Voltron. The Daft Punk guys sure liked it!
