Yeah, I have a friend who laughs at his sister for calling herself a paranormal investigator. She takes it really seriously and goes to haunted houses. She considers herself really brave to do so.

I dunno, maybe it gives people the confidence they need to do other shit. So I say they should go for it.

That's even sadder than thinking she's just full of shit. I mean, that would make it exploiting someone suffering from delusions.

What next? Are we going to switch someone's meds with placebos then film them as they argue with the voices they think they hear?

It doesn't have to be so negative. I don't think she's seeing ghosts, but if she does what harm is it doing any more than Jesus, Buddha, or the fairies and trolls they still believe in over in Iceland?
