About 8-9 years ago a bunch of my friends and I worked with this little man from Sudan named Santino. Santino didn't speak a lick of English but one day we invited him to our place to party. Typically we would all get drunk on the porch and end up harassing the college students walking past via a mega phone. This particular day we ended up doing just that. Well a week after we had him over, my friend Bill got home from work and found Santino sitting on the porch alone screaming PACMAN at people with the mega phone.
Until seeing this I always thought it was just a bizarre random thing to be yelling at people. Or perhaps it was the only Americana he was familiar with and thought, 'Hey those guys were yelling things at people, I'll yell Pacman until they return'. I'm now thinking Santino either saw this show and was imitating it or this is some rare schizophrenic tic.
I think this is a case of one of those autistic "LOL RANDOM" peoples getting the chance to do their little performance for a TV show and really milking it and milking it.
It is exactly that. I figured it was an act so I did a quick search for the internet of the guy and stumbled on one of his posts where he admits he was hamming it up for the cameras, the funny thing is that he was actually upset then those same reality TV people ended up exploiting his act and making him come across as pathetic as someone like Chris-chan.
I wonder if CWC or U-Dogg would take the same path if they did a Sonic obsession episode.. they pretty much make you to act this way and not yourself; I imagine this guy being a lot more like the guy from the King of Kong in real life.
