This is stupid.

It's a shame that they decided to make so many show spinoffs of P4 over P3, considering that 4's characters and plot were so much worse, more along the lines of a cliche anime...
...oh, that's exactly why they made it into spinoffs :(
I really can't say for P3, I only played it for perhaps 5 hours, but P4 is no slouch in making you care about the characters, which is the whole focus of the game, really. P3 seemed more concerned with it's greater plot (though I could be wrong as it went on) where P4 often foregoes the primary story to go have a goofy adventure or a personal drama.
I generally dislike JRPGs due to their anime conventions and glacial pacing, but P4 stool out because it stayed fairly personal with the characters.
To be fair, most of the P3 characters were flat anime cliches, but Yukari, Junpei, and especially Elizabeth were so good it was like a totally different team wrote them. They carried the game.
P4 was just a forgettable blur of crappy anime characters. There was the utter bore Elizabeth replacement so bland I can't even remember her name, and the chick who went into a convulsive fit every time someone put on Groucho glasses.
It's a shame because the plot to P4 started out SO GOOD. Holy fuck the red herrings though...
I don't know what y'all are talking about. Would smoking weed help?
Well, you can play the Persona 4 Arena games and get both casts together! Plus a robot who talks like the gangsters in old Bugs Bunny cartoons!
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
@IZ Yeah same, probably its some weird japanese rape game or something.
I'm with IZ and Purple Cat. I imagine the confusion I feel right now is similar to what the rest of you feel when I discuss ponies.
I assume I wouldn't like this nearly as much if I had any context for it.
Sudan, are you ever not a cunt?
No, but at least I'll never be you. ;o
