Why the hopper war? Based on the description I get the impression this was not submitted ironically, but still, stars for evil of course.
Whats funny with extremists (in this case right wing nationalist ones) is they use such extreme language to describe pretty much anything that mildly inconveniences them, when something comes along that is a genuine issue, language fails them, they got nowhere to go as demonstrated by the hyper-dramticity of this collage of random clips.

That guy  - 2015-11-17 The hopper war was probably because this was put in the hopper non-ironically, and we only have 2-3 people doing that with dumb hard-right shit. jimmybob is one of them. Quite a few of us suspect him of being racist and reactionary as fuck. His strategy is to be really terse, in order to try to fly under the radar.
Hell, I'm not against someone arguing something from the political right on here, especially about something as much of a clusterfuck as immigration in Europe right now. But I'm not going to encourage anyone to try to be a sneaky shitheel racist here.

I swithered on my voting it out of the hopper because it was very obviously posted by that jimmy stormfront halfwit but figured it could serve as a decent topic for the rest of the posters who aren't of the racist nutcase variety; also it is most definitely evil.
The rise/emboldening of the far-right I am witnessing on the streets in the UK and Mainland Europe is horrifying at the moment.
The European left IMHO has so far provided not very much in the way of directly confronting it.
It's a worrying time to live here.

Not because of the refugees, but because our own fundamentalists and far right-wingers will get so bad that they'll eventually turn on their own people and start using terror and violence to get their way, just like the Taliban et al.

Also the great thing about this site is its obscure enough to have an actual community of regulars. We dont have a swarm of teenagers spouting and endless tirade of self-reinforcing nonsense. We have like *one* misguided poor soul at a time. + its been shown in the case of cena_mark that (and Im sure he would agree) that in this situation, outside of a reddit-like echo chamber, theres an actual dialogue and people can learn from each other and perhaps end up adopting a more reasonable view of things.
