If only they had more guns, this standoff would have been prevented.

It saddens me to say this isn't surprising, but there were more mass shootings over the course of the year so far than there were days in the course of the calendar year as of today.
If only the guns had more guns, these guns would have guns the guns.
I already fucked myself twice today, but I'll bet I can get in a third..
I've fired several different guns at different times throughout my life.
What the shit does firing a gun have to do with taking a position on gun violence?
I quite like firing guns and I think gun ownership should be legal. I also support reasonable gun control to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous people, and limit the potential for mass death. This is not a difficult position to grasp.
Yeah I've never fired a gun, but if someone took me to a shooting range or something I wouldn't be opposed to trying it out. But the problem here is defining "dangerous people." Look at the two suspects who were killed in San Bernadino yesterday: unless you were Islamophobic there'd be no reason to not sell a gun to either one of them, a married couple with a baby, the male suspect working in the Health Dept attending the meeting.
Taking better measures to ensure that guns don't get into the hands of mentally unstable folks makes sense, but anybody can turn on a dime: your spouse leaves you, you lose your job; could've been completely cookie-cutter when you bought the firearm and now you've snapped and you're a murderer.
objective review of shooting a gun;
its a controlled small firework explosion that you feel in your hand, channeled through a metal pipe with grip attached to it. A target down range may or may not react to that explosion.
any other experience that is tangentially drawn from that event is utterly invented by the mind (ie, power, control, masculinity)
you truly are....the Sanest Man Alive!
Yay for SMA! But, as a Luddite I thought that's pretty much how it works. I mean, it took less than a day for the FBI to figure out that all the weapons that Farook and Malek used in San Bernadino on Wednesday were legally bought (yes, including the rifles) in the state of California.
(But also feel free to correct me on this, but it seems no different than buying a car and deciding to plow into a sidewalk full of pedestrians. Just because you know who owned it doesn't make it any less dangerous.)
it was in California, the state decried by gun nuts as the worstest, most totalitarian state for gun laws.
and that's how bad America is...just having a one-time traceable record of weapons that are only useful for mass shooting or dick extension is "KILLING OUR FREEDUMBS!!"
Is there a 2nd Amendment for cars?
There should be.
Oops sorry, that was supposed to be a reply to IZ
