Yeah, lately I've been falling asleep to comedians' podcasts, mainly Bill Burr's. It's pretty much just Burr for an hour and a half being kinda naturally funny, ranting about this and that, but I understand why comedians rehearse their routines the way one would rehearse for the live theatre.

I used to listen to Burr's podcast but it got to the point where over half of every episode was sports ranting. Not just general observations on sports that anyone could appreciate, but shit you'd be clueless about if you didn't religiously follow them. I tried skipping them for a while but the episodes were nearly over when I did, and I didn't slap on a podcast to WORK on it.

I would be all over a compilation of Burr's podcast with the sports talk edited out.

Aw that's a bummer. I started listening right around Thanksgiving so I figured it was it was just the discussion of football that one usually associates with the Holiday. It felt like listening to my dad, where I'm kinda half tuning him out because I don't know the players or half of the teams, but I enjoy the explanation anyway. I might start listening to Mark Maron's. I used to hate the guy (actually I began by not liking Burr that much either) but grew to sort of love him. I'm guessing "Sports" is replaced by "The Pixies" for half an hour, but at least I'm familiar with music.
