Worth the reading as far as the Nikopol Trilogy goes, not a great movie on it's own.

I don't trust anything I've said about this work to be accurate, which is the very thing about it!

The Nikopol Trilogy is being republished in English in April 2016 by Titan. You can pre-order now. That's the comic books series (in its entirety) that this film is an adaptation of. Enki Bilal also wrote and created all the art for the comic.
