I remember eating pot cookies and watching this in the theatre whatever year that was.. it was a lot like Episode One for stoner kids.

Reading the wikipedia synopsis on this without ever seeing it was quite the shocker.

The wikipedia description is a lot more fun than the movie. All of those things happen and yet it's somehow terribly, terribly executed.

Old_Zircon
It's so badly executed it almost feels like deliberate self parody but I don't think it is, and if it is it completely failed at actually communicating that.

Oh, it's the same guy who directed Harold and Kumar Get White Castle, which actually worked pretty well for having a similar premise, or at least what I've seen of it. Dude Where's My Car pretty much ruined my desire to see stoner road movies, since there's no direct references to drugs with its PG13 rating, and no cussin if I remember, which are kind of staples of the stoner road movie.

Rodents of Unusual Size
The scene where Sean William Scott and Ashton Kutcher make out is pretty hot.

I'd go with John Cho and Kal Penn personally, but I wonder if somewhere out there, there's a foreign translation of the movie called "Kelso and Stiffler Make Out" the way there's a "Harold And Kumar Got Munchies."
