Is this some hopper drama I'm unfamiliar with? Like I said below, the podcast is pretty great IMO. I've seen a few episodes of the TV show which don't really work for me, mostly because of the way it's structured. But the radio show has some POE favorites just going on and on for hours about something or other. In a lot of ways it's the future of comedy! There was one on recently where Zach Galifinakis was plugging.. I dunno.. something something FOX Comedy.. and that's the way the plug was treated, pretty much like "who gives a fuck" but Scott being really nice about it. I dunno, I like that.

The podcast is pretty different from the tv show, and it has a much better batting average. I don't remember that bit, but it was a bit.

The Zach one or the Tim one? The Tim one I can sort of get if it was staged/improved: it's just an hour and a half of four guys getting into arguments. I remember feeling that way when I saw The Comedy in the theatre, full of people who thought it would be like Tim and Eric. The joke was on them! But in the Zach one he's audibly pissed, probably mostly at his own career choices.

Shit then that's genius then. Last argument I heard like that was between a friend of mine where we were writing some screenplay that would never get finished. Much like this we were just yelling out ideas and hitting play on voice memo, and after 30 minutes it got into talking shit about each other, since that was the characters' MO in character. An hour later I had a black eye and he had a sprained ankle.

Really?? Did Tim become too Meta 4 Me?? The first part where they're all yelling at each other seemed staged but then it seemed like Tim got pissed and just dropped the mic at the end, saying he was done with podcasts and such.

It's like reading a book vs. seeing the movie, or in this case an audiobook. The sketches are pretty bad at times, like Mr. Show S4 bad (I liked the last season but there were some serious writing bloopers, but I guess if you want to see the celebrity's face it's not bad. Kristen Schall will always be Louise to me, but it's cool to see her in a different character, which I've assumed has already happened.

But what's up with the censorship on the TV show though? I don't need fucks to be funny but Maron, Portlandian and CBB are all bleeped whereas Todd Margaret isn't, at least on Netflix, nor are the movies when they're on IFC. Some FCC thing would make sense, but I went over to my parents' last sunday to watch the packers (RIP) and they were showing Pulp Fiction uncensored in the middle of the fucking afternoon.
