This is fuckin' fantastic.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2016-01-20 I suppose it's all in the technique, but it effectively communicates they guy's generally evil personality.

American Standard - 2016-01-20
Still can't believe anyone still listens to this guy after what happened.
|
infinite zest - 2016-01-20 What he did was deplorable and very calculated, but in reality it doesn't seem much different from the Offering at any church. It was just on a massive, massive scale. If I had 5 dollars left to my name and I put in the basket, that was my decision.

infinite zest - 2016-01-21 I dunno who Standard is but whatever it is, yeah. All churches imply this during Offering. They don't shake you down but you sure feel like a dick if you don't give money. And the tactics are basically the same. I do know that if I give to my local congregation that'll eventually go to help support their soup kitchen, and not a private jet, so there's definitely a difference in how it makes you feel, but no matter what both lie to you that your donation will save your soul somehow.

infinite zest - 2016-01-21 oh shit you meant original Poester. I thought it was some article written by some guy named Standard! Sorry!

It would take a gorilla maybe three seconds to sign "young people crying".

unknown_specimen - 2016-01-22
This makes me pine for an Argento movie about a televangelist being tormented by slightly demonic crying young people
|
Bort - 2016-01-22 Maybe the young people are crying because they don't have any buckets of soup.
