I kept waiting for Roberto in the front row to stab him, but I guess he liked it.

I thought so, but this depiction of a standard 1980s hack comic as a robot still is pretty excruciating, what with the horrific cacophony of the audience. Also, the audience bots, to me, all look like slightly comedic versions of the sort of killer bots that Russ Manning's comic book character Magnus, Robot Fighter would be battling.

It kind of reminds me of that Mr. Show sketch, Racist in the Year 3000, where David's going off about the impurity of various alien species and their racial impurity. I hated it at first (and there was hardly a laugh from the audience if I remember) but now it's probably the sketch that I quote the most. Never trust a man what's made of gas, unless he's one of the good ones of course.
