Sounds like you should just stop working with him, if you're a producer or director.

oddeye - 2016-02-21 he makes a ton of money for some reason

Anaxagoras - 2016-02-22 That's the great mystery, to me. Who watches his shit? Who enjoys watching a smug, slightly portly man lumber around and do low-energy martial arts? (Usually with some guns thrown in.) There are *actual* action stars out there who make movies with *actual* action, so.... what niche is Seagal filling? Is he appealing to guys who are a little too realistic to imagine themselves as a Schwarzenegger, or a Stalone, and so they instead glom on to a slightly overweight wooden mannequin?

One of the most entertaining men in Hollywood.

Waynes' response cracked me up. He knows his comedy.

Probably the greatest thing to come out of MAD TV was Will Sasso's Seagal impressions.

Based on interviews & stories I've read about him, I've long had the impression that Mr. Seagal was a kinda stupid navel-gazing creep.
I had no idea how deep the rabbit hole went.

He had a tantrum about dying in Executive Decision, and at least some speculation he wasn't supposed to and the Director surprised him with it to replace him.

Segal sounds like he only acts in movies where he gets to be his perfect Mary Sue character and freaks out if it's presented otherwise. It's amazing how much money even the crappy films make.
|
Cena_mark - 2016-02-22 It's not just his character, it's his fights. He never shows any weakness, and never even takes a punch. His fights have him in control throughout every fight. There's no sense of drama, it's just Seagal squashing people.
