Could probably use "cocaine" tag for extra laughs
15th
Seamless transition into cocaine week.

I just remembered you can use pickpocket in Fallout 1 to plant grenades and bombs on the kids. Sadly I can't find shit on YouTube as everything pertains the Bethesda titles. Fucking kids and their 3d graphics.
Sanest Man Alive
That was the only way I could stand going through The Den in Fallout 2. Goddamn Flick and his thieving little pianos.

I figured since "child death week" was going to get all tasteless and absurd anyway, why not go with this?
infinite zest
All I can think of is this (skip to about 23:20 but we've probably all seen it anyway):

I'm gonna miss you, me.

I never had the big problem with this song that most everyone I know does. The video's pretty bad but I'd take it over the decade and a half of fake B.B. King solos Clapton had been doing up t that point. It's the kind of track that stands out as slightly better than its peers when it comes on in the dentist's waiting room, which makes it quality Adult Contemporary in my book.

I'm pretty neutral on Clapton, though, I like a few of his 60s and early 70s things and could take or leave the rest. I know plenty of people who would legitimately be reluctant to socialize with people who like Clapton, though. Same with Pearl Jam (who I'm also pretty neutral on).

I'm of the same mind as you RE: his body of work, but I also still get some dark chuckles out of the fact that he wrote a hit song about how awesome cocaine was, and years later his kid OD'ed on it and died. It's not as if he actually killed his son, but it's still the first child death I found myself laughing at.

Bort
??? Clapton's four-and-a-half year-old son fell out of a window and died.

Well shit, guess I've had my weird, awful rock stories mixed up all this time. My mistake. Off to figure out who else I was thinking of, then.

(still funny)

“People talk about Eric Clapton. What has he ever done except throw his baby off a fuckin’ ledge and write a song about it?"
