Gee, I wonder why this didn't take off.
Probably some backroom shenanigans between Jonah Hill and people at a higher paygrade than Jonah Jill. (as MacFarlane and Sugar have shown, quality is not a barrier to taking off)

The actual answer is a lot more simple: no one watched this garbage. It pulled in some of the lowest ratings in the network's history, to the point that it caused Family Guy (which followed it) to begin losing viewers by the millions.

Imagine, a show so bad even people who like Family Guy find it beneath them. They said it couldn't be done.

Binro the Heretic
It was a mean vicious little show that had no respect for the audience.

Every single character was unlikeable. Every joke fell flat. They expected it to succeed on edginess alone.

Family guy manages to have funny moments here and there, surrounded by an ocean of mediocrity and childish shock humor.

This show makes me want to take a whole bottle of Xanax.

finally a whole show all about americas favorite rascal stewie

How many failed cartoons have this premise: A-typical Hollywood loser and his relationships with so-called normal people but this time his a (___)!
Sanest Man Alive
completely repugnant twat?

But that's every one of them, this Mad Lib is terrible!

cartoon voice actor?

I didn't like Allen Gregory either, but I will give the show credit for having a gay character who was neither a stereotype nor bland GLAAD-award winning diversity-bait (re: Kevin Kellner).

I mean, the gay character was as much of an unlikable bastard as everyone else on the show, but, in a twisted way, that's progress.
Sorry, "Kevin Keller", as in the ARCHIE comics gay character, designed to be a positive role model for gay youth but also a bland character in a gag comic universe.
