The 'Simpson Defeats Prince' bit at the end, the asbestos gag and the Ray Bradbury joke are all absolute gold.

Jimmy Labatt - 2016-03-04

Heh, my three as well.

fedex - 2016-03-04

You missed the Jack Horkheimer, Star Hustler reference

baleen - 2016-03-04

And the Dewey Defeats Truman reference at the end.

baleen - 2016-03-04

oh you got that one. nevermoind.

Cena_mark - 2016-03-04

How dare he put down Bradbury. Hard science fiction nerds are dorks.

Caminante Nocturno - 2016-03-04

They truly are the most insufferable of nerds, and that's not an easy title to earn.

Quad9Damage - 2016-03-04

Bart could be any of the Republican candidates, but so could Martin. Did The Simpsons also predict the GOP eating itself alive?

EvilHomer - 2016-03-04

Bart could also be Hillary, or Bernie, Al Gore, or Dewey. There's an element of Kennedy in there, too - I think the sick, disheveled Martin was supposed to be a reference to the Nixon/Kennedy debates.

It's a convoluted metaphor and I'm not sure where poeTV stands on this clip's predictive meaning.

Aress - 2016-03-09

The metaphor is that populism is stupid.

MurgatroidMendelbaum - 2016-03-04

Voting's for geeks.
