This is currently playing in my city :) Almost thought it wasn't, but it's listed as Mei Ren Yu.

Ooh me too, and in 3D. Hopefully it'll stay in theatres longer than my urinary tract infection.. :(

I was so disappointed when I looked up the movie and realized it isn't at all what this trailer would lead you to believe.

Still, great trailer.

Binro the Heretic - 2016-03-05

Could be worse.

Could be a remake of "Mermaid in a Manhole".

dairyqueenlatifah - 2016-03-05

Oh boy, I had to look up what that was. I've never seen it, but I have seen its prequel, "Flower of Flesh and Blood", and wew lad, it's the closest thing to an actual snuff film I've ever seen.

Old_Zircon - 2016-03-05

I've still never seen any of the Guinea Pig movies (I didn't actually know the name of the series before now, in fact) but I definitely heard a lot about them back in 10th grade, mainly from the bass player in my band.

I had a friend back in the day before the Internet that would get bootleg, rare, and banned VHS tapes through the mail.

I never want to see Guinea Pig again. Two words :

Needle. Eyeball.

Apparently, "A Flower of Flesh and Blood" horrified Charlie Sheen to the point he alerted authorities to make sure it wasn't a genuine snuff film.

Killer Joe - 2016-03-05

It got me pretty good.

Old_Zircon - 2016-03-05

Stephen Chow lost me a bit after God of Cookery (Shaolin Soccer is fun and has some great moments but it's the first one where he was clearly working with an international audience in mind and it shows, plus the CGI just gets in the way of the slapstick) but I'll still see this.

God of Cookery and A Chinese Odyssey Pt. 1 are still my favorites but I have to admit I still haven't seen God of Gamblers.

Kung Fu Hustle is one of my favorite movies.

I saw Journey to the West, was excited as hell to see it... :( The story wasn't as energetic, but it was cute and funny. Unfortunately, the end is so jarringly violent compared to the lighthearted comedy before it that I honestly didn't enjoy it.

Old_Zircon - 2016-03-05

I have to admit I don't actually remember much of Kung Fu Hustle, saw it at a party. I'm probably not judging it fairly.

memedumpster - 2016-03-05

It's a shameless cartoon of a movie, so it's perfectly understandable not to like it. I just really really like the characters. In my memories of the movie, I often automatically substitute Kevin Kline and Tracy Ullman from I Love You To Death in the roles of the kung fu slum lords.

Anyone else here go to see Ip Man 3? I was happy that Mike Tyson is in the movie for like 3 minutes tops.
