Binro the Heretic Rich man, poor man, come away
Time to dance
The Mac-A-Bray
Time to work, time to play
Time to dance
The Mac-A-Bray
One and all, hear and stay
Come and dance
The Mac-A-Bray
All must dance
The Mac-A-Bray
Gmork Intentional or not, what a cringe-worthy mispronunciation.
Binro the Heretic It's from Neil Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book." I'm still upset the plans to have Henry Selick make that into a movie fell through.
Anyway, it resonated with me because when I was a little kid, I thought it was pronounced "mack-ob-ruh".
Gmork I remember a time when most of my vocabulary gained from book-reading hadn't been tested in actual conversation. I mispronounced "cache" longer than I care to admit.
memedumpster "Sonofabitch" threw me when I was a child reading Cat People. I wondered what a "suh-knowfa-bitch" was for as long as it took me to read to the sex.
EvilHomer It's fake. If you look closely, you can tell it's a drawing, not a real city.
gmol Very impressive, but like a lot of drawing videos it makes it look like the artist is pulling an entire city from their brain. Would be nice to show the reference.
HarrietTubmanPI Someone doesn't know their feet (') from inches (") in the description. Have you drawn any designs for a model of Stonehenge lately?
chumbucket Not Commander Mark. But reminds me of him.
