I found out about this guy watching an interview of Alexei Sayle, co-creator of Young Ones and many other things. Dowie was mentioned as a comedian who was ahead of everyone in the 70s british alt comedy scene but was burnt out by the time it became popular.

I'm not sure but i think you might be referring to some really ancient videos I posted of myself on here partly in response/to antagonize Spike Bravo? If so, those are long lost and gone. I have no copies that I know of.
