i played this game. Now my fabrics are rough and course, like sandpaper on my skin, and no force on Earth can soften them. There is no escape. Snuggle Bear's curse shall follow me to the grave.

This was an excellent commercial for a mediocre game. Middle school me was duped and rented it.

I liked this game. The vs mode was great.

Fourteen year old me loved this commercial, too much actually. I remember I didn't even like or care about wrestling, but all the people I lived with did, and I would watch Friday Night Smackdown and Monday Night Raw with them just for the commercial breaks so I could see this commercial because they aired it nearly every commercial break during those programs for two months.

There were so many great video game commercials in the late 90s and early 2000s that were great for reasons that had little to no reflection of the actual content in the games they were advertising.
