"If you are using a non-accredited program, however, the parent acts as the teacher in charge when homeschooling. In other words, the parent or guardian has the final say in assigning credits and grades. Whether its a casual co-op, an online classical education taught by a teacher, or a scheduled weekly live class by a science expert, if its not accredited, the parent/ guardian is still the teacher in charge. That means the parent/guardian can decide what assignments are important for their child to complete, and what will improve their learning. Fortuigences programs are non-accredited. While our instructors give recommendations on credits and grades to apply to your childs transcripts, the parents or guardians of our students make the final decision. Our instructors will provide assistance to parents to help determine credits and grades as requested."
