This was pretty terrifying. Apparently the car driver's rage was set off when the motorcyclist lane split to the front of a red light . This is legal in California, not sure about Florida. It's not a problem here as the bikes usually accelerate much quicker than cars and are out of the way in no time. The initial swipe attempt by the car could have killed the motorcyclist if it connected so it's hard to blame the guy for his stupid but most likely panicked maneuvers.
No innocent parties here, that motorcyclist was putting others in jeopardy when riding against the flow of traffic, but damn if he wasn't clearly riding in fear of his own life.
And for those of you wondering why the motorcyclist tried to evade rather than just pull over somewhere, odds are good the guy in the car would still have tried to kill him.
