I actually rather liked this game and I feel it represents the last moment before Peter Moylneux went completely insane.

That said, the biggest issue I had with it was how long it took to "film" a movie.

My magnum opus (about 7 minutes long as I recall) took, in game years, about 17 years to film. The actors visibly aged between scenes.

There was a sandbox mode, but part of the fun was the management simulation.

I choose to believe that I was some sort of Jordowsky level auteur who filmed a 17 year war epic set during a war that lasted 6 years.
