I saw this guy give a lecture in Olympia in the late 90s. Negativland was one of the first bands that introduced me to weird. I remember hearing U2 really late at night on KEXP (then known as KCMU before Paul Allen bought Seattle, which I still call it out of habit) and laughing my ass off. 2016 really is a horrible year deathwise.

Incidentally, the whole album Flight F.I.N.A.L. that they sampled for this is amazing, we used to listen to it a lot at the record store where I worked most of my 20s.

I never actually heard this Negativland track.

What extra sucks about this is that this is the THIRD member of Negativland to die in less than a year.
